Artistic prints became fashionable in the 1950s. The canvas ceased to be circumscribed to a painting and filled the rooms of the house with tapestries, wallpaper and objects. This barkcloth of the 50’s is an example of this. Flowers drawn in lines that make up the drawing. Green, red, yellow sticking up white textured background.
I found it in one of those American stores full of treasures that wish to shine again.
